Help Carry the Peace Tour Across the United States
Six monks from Sera Jey Lawa Khangtsen will travel from October 2026 through March 2027, offering teachings, sand mandalas, meditation, and community programs on peace, compassion, reconciliation, forgiveness, and nonviolence.
We are seeking a vehicle sponsor, transportation partner, or donor support for safe and reliable tour travel.
A Vehicle Is More Than Transportation
For this tour, the vehicle is what allows the teachings to reach each community. It carries the monks from host to host, along with robes, luggage, instruments, sacred art materials, and the practical supplies needed for each stop. Reliable transportation helps the tour arrive safely, on time, and ready to serve.
What We Are Looking For
- A passenger van, Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster, shuttle van, or similar vehicle
- Seating for six monks plus a translator or coordinator
- Space for luggage, robes, instruments, and tour materials
- Safe, roadworthy, insured transportation suitable for multi-state travel
- Support for the full October 2026 - March 2027 tour, or for one regional leg
We are open to creative arrangements and would be grateful to speak with anyone who may be able to help or point us in the right direction.
Ways to Support Tour Transportation
Vehicle Sponsorship
Loan or provide a suitable van, shuttle, or passenger vehicle for the full tour or one regional leg.
Discounted Rental or Lease
Offer a reduced-cost long-term rental, lease, or fleet arrangement.
Regional Leg Sponsorship
Sponsor transportation for one portion of the tour, such as the West Coast, East Coast, or Pacific Northwest.
Cash Sponsorship
Help cover rental, lease, insurance, maintenance, fuel, parking, tolls, or roadside support.
In-Kind Support
Offer maintenance, tires, detailing, decals, fuel cards, roadside assistance, storage, or logistical help.

We would be glad to recognize transportation sponsors in ways that are respectful, appropriate, and aligned with the spirit of the tour.

- Photos of the sponsored vehicle supporting the tour, when appropriate
Any vehicle branding or sponsor recognition would be handled tastefully so the tour remains centered on peace, service, and the monastic offering.
About the Sera Jey Lawa Khangtsen World Peace Tour
The Sera Jey Lawa Khangtsen World Peace Tour is an educational and community-based tour by Tibetan Buddhist monks from Sera Jey Monastery in India. Each stop is created in collaboration with local hosts and may include sand mandalas, teachings, meditation, sacred music, dialogue, and programs on becoming peacemakers.
The heart of the tour is bodhicitta - the awakened heart that wishes all beings to be free from suffering. The tour invites communities to explore peace not only as an idea, but as a practice of compassion, reconciliation, forgiveness, and nonviolence.
