About this program
The monks of Sera Jey Lawa Khangtsen spend these days with Tibetan families in Pennsylvania.
During the visit they will:
- Chant the Twenty-One Taras for prosperity
- Chant Medicine Buddha prayers for health and healing
- Make tormas, traditional ritual offerings
- Spend a full day reading the sutras, the Buddha's teachings
These gatherings take place with the families, so no public address or schedule is listed.
Sunday, November 29: the monks join Lama Losang Samten for a Medicine Buddha program at the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center of Philadelphia. See the Philadelphia program →
